Back in the early 2000s, I was a young fashion photographer completely in love with the arts. When the big fairs first started rolling into Miami, I was instantly captivated by the sheer energy and beauty taking over the city. Luckily, I was in the middle of it all, with my studio at the amazing Bakehouse Art Complex, surrounded by young and talented artists. It left a profound mark on me, and that feeling is exactly why I started this site.
Today, every December, Miami transforms into the global epicenter of the art world. Major fairs bring together galleries, artists, and collectors, while museums, studios, hotels, and even unexpected spaces overflow with exhibitions and celebrations. But the real magic extends far beyond the main tents. Every neighborhood takes on its own distinct vibe, and honestly, some of the best discoveries happen off the beaten path.
